〈JAPAN CULTURAL EXPO2.0〉 2024 Special Anniversary Lecture
September 15 (Sun.) ・September 23 (Mon.)
Our museum opened on September 15, 2001.
It is where Japan's oldest coins, made in the late 7th century, were produced by Emperor Temmu. 2024 marks the 1,300th anniversary of Emperor Shomu's accession to the throne.
To commemorate this occasion, there will be a special lecture on Emperors Temmu and Shomu.
The lecture will be archived on the museum's official channel with English subtitles.
The archive is scheduled to become available in March 2025.
